Ms. Samyra Boney is an Associate Therapist with Positive Steps Counseling, LLC. Florida born and raised, she’s been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M and her Master’s degree from Troy University.

By narrowing her professional focus to relationships, Samyra is well-positioned to deliver the results her clients need and deserve. “I like to help couples with the skills, tools, and insight they need to repair and improve their relationships – not only for the current moment – but for the rest of their lives.”

Absolutely committed to the highest standard of care, Samyra collaborates professionally with her Positive Steps team to bring the best and most recent, research-based therapy to all of her clients.

When not working with couples or enjoying time with her husband and adult children, Samyra serves as a member of the FEMA Crisis Response Team for Orange County. She is also a 30-year active veteran.
