A native of Florida, Alexis Diaz earned her bachelor’s degree from Stetson University and her master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University.

With more than ten years’ experience in the field, Alexis is an experienced professional, counseling couples since 2017. One of her clients said this about Alexis, “Alexis has a very calming presence and knows how to manage our sessions. When you’re with her, you just know you are in capable hands.”

Trained by the research-based Gottman Institute, Alexis focuses on bringing couples the lifelong skills and tools they need to repair, nurture, and grow their most important relationships.

When not working with couples, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
As an Associate Therapist with Positive Steps Counseling, Alexis Diaz, M.S., is licensed as a mental health counselor in the State of Florida.
